Open MysMatch, tap Sign up, and enter your email, password, and basic profile details (name, university, major). You can also verify your phone number via SMS to get a verified badge on your profile; it's required if you want to create events.
MysMatch suggests students based on your university, major, study level, and nearby city. Send a connection request — if the other person accepts, you can start chatting.
Check that your phone number is correct and has signal. Wait 60 seconds before requesting a new code. If it still doesn't arrive, email us at contact@mys-match.com with your number and country.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password and enter your account email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Open the user's profile or chat, tap the menu icon, and choose Report or Block. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Blocked users can no longer see your profile or contact you.
In the app, go to Profile → Ownership, tap your account card, then Delete my account. Your account is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period (signing in again cancels it). You can also request deletion by emailing contact@mys-match.com from your account email. Details: Delete your account.
Go to Profile → Edit Profile. Most fields can be updated directly. If you need to change your registered email address, contact support.
We're continually adding universities. If yours is missing, email us at contact@mys-match.com and we'll add it.
Disable notifications in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → MysMatch; Android: Settings → Apps → MysMatch → Notifications). You can also manage preferences inside the app under Settings.
Yes, MysMatch is free to download and use for core connection and messaging features.
